Charles Fulbright Holden, Architect
Charles Fulbright Holden, Architect has over twenty years experience creating engaging modern architecture for clients in North Carolina. Prior to forming Oxide, Charles was co-founder for Tonic Design / Tonic Construction, where he helped implement a dynamic design-build approach that continues to produce award-winning work. Prior to Tonic, Charles worked with Frank Harmon, Architect, contributing to over fifty projects including Penland School of Crafts’s Iron Studio. Alek Wimberly, Architectural Associate
Alek joined Oxide after graduating from NC State University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Architecture degree. He later completed the Master of Architecture program from the same school in 2018, receiving both the Faculty Award for Design Achievement as well as the Academic Achievement Award. Born and raised in Raleigh, he has a strong passion for regional modern architecture and is always seeking to improve the human condition as it relates to the built and natural environment.
Krzysztof Leszczynski, Special Projects
Krystof studied Civil Engineering at North Carolina State University and combines his knowledge of building systems, components and construction methods with extensive auto-didactic architectural expertise. He has worked on a variety of commercial and residential projects in the region and abroad, including assisting with repairs to medieval fortified church in Archita, Romania, a UNESCO World Heritage site. At Oxide, he evaluates and incorporates sustainable design processes, and handles lighting design.
TraShanna Sanchez, Special Projects
TraShanna is completing her Associates Degree in Architectural Technology at Wake Technical Community College. Joining Oxide in 2015, TraShanna provides a distinctive perspective and strong enthusiasm to the team and projects. She is focused on sustainability and green building techniques in a design-build context. TraShanna is also an active member of the AIA for Students and the American Society of Landscape Architects Club and volunteers with the Wake County Habitat for Humanity.
